This compact amplifier delivers almost limitless sound combinations - all with the responsive, expressive, fat tone of Peavey's TransTube technology. It's best of modern & classic worlds for guitar players. The 258 EFX is a 25-watt amp with an 8" Blue Marvel speaker, 9 on-board digital effects, a WYSIWYG interface that makes it easy to keep track of effects settings, and dedicated switches for Vintage, Modern and High-gain amp sounds. You can program three presets consisting of a clean or dirty channel with simultaneous modulations effect, reverb and delay - this means that you could have one channel clean with a rotating speaker, reverb & delay, one channel dirty with touch wah and delay, and one channel dirty with an octave - all selectable with the switch.
